New Additions!

Hey all so remember weeks n weeks ago when I decided to take a break? Well winter was on its way for everywhere else but here where I live... we don't really have whats considered a normal winter. It's calm, sunny and just a chill in the air mostly, time for developement and change. So here are a few things I have decided on....

I have to time manage things better, so I will be offering Custom spots like a lot of people do, at first I thought it a little odd to do but now have come to realise its a great tool. I can create what you guys want as well as give myself time to do new things which keeps us all happy and all importantly keep up with the bookwork!

Sell mostly through the Hand-Made shop, this gives you the option to pay by Paypal or direct deposit and sorts out the issues I had with sometimes getting addresses and sometimes not. As most know, I live in a town way out west on the edge of WA called Useless Loop, the internet drops out when the days are calm. SO if I have all your details straight up the it makes things all very quick and I can get things a moving to you faster than they used to be. Don't be afraid of the Hand-Made store... if you like something and want me to hold it for a couple of days just let me know and I will put a custom listing up there for you, just like holding things on FB.

NOW THE BIG NEWS!!
I have been developing a line for the girls who are just growing so fast and a little to old to quick! I don't have any girls but I do have nieces and some of what is out there for them at the moment is just a bit trashy. I was going to call it something for the Tweens but have researched on the tween reference and have found kids who hate the reference because they do not fit the criteria (yes apparently your only a tween if you love the Disney channel, need to dress in the latest fashion, no matter how inappropriate it is and always listen to pop, LOVE boy bands or Justin Beiber.) things I don't necessarily think are bad but not really for all.

So for all the Girls who are finding themselves and developing a style, parents who want to give their child originality but in a age appropriate way and to keep the Grandies happy, they love to see things from their era ..... I'm designing for the little lady, a classic retro.... old fashion styles with a punkish twist ......just for childish fun!

In sizes ranging from size 6 all the way up to size 14 girls (std measurements) I think your going to like what you see! Mainly items that will be complimented by things you already have in the wardrobe like skirts, pants, dresses etc...things that can have layers underneath in cool weather and be layer-less when hot!

This will be an addition to the ranges I already do, the Bubbs up to 5yr olds.

So here is the info for the Market

being held on Monday the 16th of July 2012!!

Start time of 4pm AWST Time

Here are a couple of items to check out..... go to https://www.hand-made.com.au/EvilLittleThings if you want to see some more.    All will be sold on Facebook and I will create a custom listing for you on the Hand-Made site, makes paying and getting your items easier and faster!

Just a couple of more suprises to come......but I will leave you in suspense ;)  xxTank

Who is me? Emmalene thats who!!

Hi all....I have been thinking a lot lately and gaining more confidence/self esteem etc lately which is obviously great!!

I have also come to the realisation that I will not ever be a Derby Girl again...sad but the hard truth LOL!  I LOVE derby and will always have it in my heart as it gave me back so much of myself after becoming a mummy but it has now almost been 2yrs since I skated with my league as we moved away.  There are no teams here in town...and I'm the only freak who sometimes skates up in the hall but as we now have lots of contractors coming in I no longer feel comfortable...THANK GOODNESS for my paddleboard...my new obsession (can you tell ;P)

Having Tank allowed me not to be Emma...the shy, non-talkative, quiet person but a confident, kick arse, hard hitting chick who did what she wanted mostly with confidence n drive!  I also feel that I no longer need Tank to be the person I want to be!

I now hearby introduce myself as Emmalene, Emma, Emm, Emmsy...... Tankabell/Tank is now firmly set up pride of place "in the pool room!!"

I AM EMMA..... HEAR ME ROAR!!  LOL

Some of us do lose ourselves when we become mums, there are many way to "find" yourself again...it may take a little while to find that "thing" but keep your eyes open, it will arrive!

Lots a loves xx
Emm

TOTALLY SPOILT!

Home :)
Hi so yes I know that I'm totally spoilt where I live, mind you it is miles from anywhere and we have a 5hr "dash" to the hospital if something happens to us or the boys.

That happened a couple of weeks ago, infact it was Australia Day...Lucas my oldest was complaining all day about a sore tummy so we did the normal things thinking it may be a virus or gastro....toilet, bath, shower, rest and all that again.  At around 6pm when hubby (Neil) walked in the door it was worse SO up to the medical centre to see the onsite nurse...wait for him to talk to GP in Carnarvon...."ok we agree you must drive to Geraldton Hospital...now"  YAY....not!

So we started out at 8.30pm...got there at 1.30am and by 3.30am all was ok with Lucas....nothing to be found!  Which is good but also bad cause if it comes back it could be worse and we could be driving home  aarr!  So we were given somewhere to sleep and then spent the day shopping and resting.

Long story I know but I will get to my point LOL!!

Anyway...I go into good ol' Spotlight to get some dress zips and a few other things for a friend and my youngest AJ (I only have 2 boys)  came running in saying...VERY EXCITED!!

"MUM WE FOUND A PADDLE BOARD DO YOU WANT IT???"  Ha still hasnt got the concept of money LOL!

" ok mate, I will have a look but we cant just get one...they are lots of money!" I say

"IT"S STILL ON SALE BUT FROM CHRISTMAS!"  ok so he may have a little bit of an idea about $$...SALE  = good buy! And those who know him know he is quite a loud child LOL!

So we go have a look and sure enough its on sale and quite a bit less that the ones I have been looking at online plus no postage costs ($120+ post cost).  I look at hubby...I have been wanting one for a year now...gave him THE LOOK... and got a "if you want it go for it" reply.......WOOHOOO!!!!
SO I have a stand up paddle board  10ft 3" Redback X-trainer and I LOVE IT!!

So why am I totally spoilt today....well I got to ride it for a whole hour, I paddled across from the town jetty to the second little shack on the beach...about 1km and back....saw lots of stingrays, fish, a turtle and small sharks...even had one following me about 20mts back...very cute!

Then I went down to whiting bay and had a good paddle around there too.  It is so peaceful to just have you and the ocean...the board making tiny sloshy sounds across the top and the paddle swishing in and out the water!  You done feel like your really doing any excercise but once I'm home..I start to feel it......need to stretch it out LOL!!!
Whiting Bay

Anyway now onto some more pattern drafting for the winter range!   It will be a busy winter I feel, I'm LOVIN' the creative bit of design but now it's down to the business bit!!
