Sonething for the ladies!!

OK so the other day I was playing around with my pattern for the ladies bloomers...so here are the 4 versions!!

Ruffle Bloomer

Lycra ruffle bloomer

The "Va va valoomer" bloomer

Basic shortie bloomer

These all have a racer back singlet to make it a set if you wish,  individually they vary in cost as will the sets :)  The fabrics are listed on Facebook in the album for fabrics and ready to send sets will be listed on madeit and etsy - see links below!

For now thats it but I will be back with some bloomers in new prints for all to love!

Focus!!

Do you ever loose focus on you mission?  I do from time to time, second guessing yourself...I know things take time and I have been flitting around the place but I love derby so much I think I have to put everything else in vacation mode so that I can just concetrate on the one thing!

Did you know that I have another label for kids as well as making things with ELT for the kids and adding in the derby girls and womens stuff!  I may just give some of the kiddies stuff a rest for the time being and when the focus n passion return or I become super organised (bbaaahahahaha I will try)  I need only one things to concentrate on or I will certainly go mad!

So Evil Little Things and the blog they are my only focus and I hope it all gets better and better! 

So many designs so little time!   

OK so its been a little bit!!

OK so I have been trying to be heads down machine zooming but wouldnt you know it the family kind takes all my time sometimes but hey thats why they are born so cute! my 2 little misters started footy training with Auskick and as a family who follow the wind...we have NO idea about footy, the rules or how to play! 

Master 6 is now a footy fanatic and knows when the games are on so sits there and yells at the telly, no matter who the team is ....they just have to "KICK IT IN!!!"

So anyway this is what I have been able to get done with more pics to follow tomorrow as the camera will be charged!

So there are a few more things to add tomorrow and I hope they will be on a cutie bootie...the best way to show of all those gorgeous ruffles!!  They are taking over my life you know!!

There are a couple of boys things to add but I have been thinking a lot and the only things I will be showing here are pieces that I make for my boys or custom.   Girls clothing and womens clothing is a bit easier to sell than the boys sadly...but I have to go where the market is taking me! 

Oh and cross you fingers for me...I will let you know soon!! :)  Excited!!!!!!

How the toothfairy forgot! Opps

Ok so I was so knackered from doing not a lot and the lovely toothfairy forgot to do her job!  So when Kuki woke in the moring his tooth was still in the cup...

mum asked" why do you think the toothfairy didnt show up?"  

Kuki answered "um cause I had my eyes open all night to see her!" 

Mum replys "well thats no good, maybe we put the tooth back in your room and see if she will visit you this morning while your busy doing things!"

Kuki replys "ok mum that sounds good, I'll cross my fingers!"

So yay the toothfairy arrived and sneakyly placed $2 in the cup and made off with the tooth!  PHEW, another disaster averted!

So today I will be trying to make up some lovely derby goodness in the way of Bootie Patootie shorts!

Something quick for my boys!

So I've had these frames from Ikea hanging around for a little while...I ripped off the plastic as it had torn from use and decided to make up my own bag and sewed it around the frame.  Fitting theme for a family of ocean going pirates!! LOL

Nice n quick!!

WELCOME to Evil Little Things Blog!

Hello and welcome to the ELT blog, My name is tankabell and I own Evil Little Things based in Western Australia, I have decided to do this blog because I find at times FB can be quite impersonal, I would love to get to know people and for them to get to know me!

I'm finally happy to find there are more people out there like me, a little bit evil ...but in a good way!  I have a passion for the ocean, skulls and lots of things pirate like.... the only thought I can come up with to explain the skull and pirate love is that in a past life I was a pirate and sailed the open ocean looking for treasure!  ahhhhaaarrrrrr!!

I love roller derby, used to play which explains the name Tankabell but now live so far from my league that I cant go to training or games But I do still support the League, skate and train by myself in my teeni tiny remote town which is cool!  ...I miss it so much, the grrls are great, the guys are Zebras LOL and game is THE fastest growing contact sport in the WORLD and probably the best of all WE GET TO HIT EACH OTHER FOR FUN!!! :D

I hope to share with you some of my projects and give you options to create these things at home!  If I find a great pattern on my favourite shopping site "Etsy" I will let you know!  Maybe I could start up a creative competition...that would be fun!!  I love to help those who get into a sewing/patterning rut and this is my profession so I have lots of handy tips but I also love to hear new tips from others also. We all have our ways and it would be great to share.

Anyway better get back to it, hope you like the blog and visit often!
